Custom Flange Spool Installation: Efficient and ProfessionalWhen the need arose for a spool with a nipple and square flanges, the Piping Team was ready to respond. Immediately following the request, prefabrication for the unique flange sizes was completed in the workshop. Upon arrival on-site, the team began by dismantling the existing pipe and assessing potential collision risks, taking detailed measurements to ensure precision in the new installation.Fabrication and Installation ProcessThe team crafted twelve cement joints, with the majority being completed in the vessel’s workshop. The final joint was cemented on-site to ensure a perfect fit. After the joints cured, the pipe was returned to the workshop for saddle lamination. Following the lamination process and its curing, a hole was drilled, and a nipple was cemented into place, with an additional curing step to ensure durability. The final preparation involved fitting rubber gaskets, ensuring a secure and leak-proof installation before the pipe was placed in its final position.Efficient Logistics and ExecutionEfficient logistics played a critical role in the success of this operation. Necessary materials and equipment were dispatched the day after receiving the request. Two technicians were flown out the following day, arriving with the equipment. Within 48 hours of their arrival, the technicians completed the installation and returned to the company workshop, demonstrating the team’s commitment to rapid response and professional service.
